I am beside myself because of this product being discontinued, I love love love this foundation, I looked like a porcelain doll and it covered all my acne and light scarring, it lasted 18 hrs even if I sweat. I looked fresh and young and just even. All around great makeup. Please bring this back.

Have been wearing Superfit foundation since the earth was cooling. Thought it was fantastic, loved that it was water resistant and long wearing. Wasn't crazy about how it oxidized. The very fair, neutral "Shell" shade was a good match. The color would get a little dark when it would oxidize, but it was still close. Had a cow when Superfit was discontinued. Have been trying all different foundations, everything from drugstore brands to high end, as I am on my last bottle of Superfit. My search ended with MAKE UP FOR EVER's Mat Velvet +. I actually like it better than Superfit. It's creamier, only oxidizes a little bit, and I LOVE its finish. It's water resistant as well, but I haven't cried or had drops of water on my face yet to tell how good that aspect is. For those of you looking for a replacement for your discontined Superfit, give MUFE's Mat Velvet + a try. You just might end up liking it better.

I found this foundation too orangey and cakey :/ I bought this foundation in the lightest shade, which i thought would be ok, but i now believe Clinique dont really do fair shades very well, in my opinion! It made my skin shiny and was nowhere near a natural colour. The packaging was average! Overall i have descovered after trying two Clinique foundations that its not the brand for me!

This foundation works well with my oily combination skin, great coverage, doesn't clog pores, doesn't break me out (i have acne, my acne don't end in scars or hyperpigmentations, hence not much coverage is needed). I didnt expect them to discountinue this product soon after they changed the naming of the colors last year. I recommend purchasing this foundation to anyone with oily combination acne prone skin, if you can track it down.

I was not at all impressed with this foundation from Clinique. I found the coverage very minimal(came off and stained my clothes as well as many other things), was not impressed with the color range(my closest match was too pale for me). It does, however, adequately absorb sweat and oil. However, I would opt for a light foundation with better coverage, which is cheaper. Ladies, save your hard earned cash!

I work at Clinique and we just got a memo from the company a few days ago saying that this was being discontinued, which truly surprised me. The company is advising people to switch over to the Even Better foundation (which is NOTHING like Superfit in texture, oil control or color).
I've worked at many counters over the years and am truly disappointed in the selection, quality and business decisions this company has made. The products are sub-par at best, and the company is relying on the customers it has had for years.
My suggestion for those of you left in the lurch --- try Laura Mercier or Lancome.

If you have pink based skin tones and you are fair like me "petal" is a great colour. I have not been able to find any other foundations which match my colouring so well as most foundations are yellow based and dull my complexion, this one makes you glow. I don't use it around my eyes as it is quite a heavy coverage and can settle in creases but it does last all day even when I work out or sweat. I have oily acne prone sensitive skin and this is the only foundation which combines the correct colour with an oil free formula which does not break me out. I keep returning to this line and I hope they never discontinue it!

The Pros: I have very sensitive combination skin and this does not break me out. I also like the squeeze bottle which makes it easy to control how much you use.
The Cons: First, it settles into those fine lines under my eyes and around my mouth which instantly ages me! Second, it makes my skin look shiny the second I put it on. Third, I am fair skinned and even the lightest color is incredibly orange! It goes on relatively fine but an hour later I look like a cast member of the Jersey Shore! There are just no acceptable natural looking light colors (and I've tried them all at this point).
I really wanted to like this because it's hard for me to find foundation that does not break me out. But after four attempts to find a color match, I'm returning it for good.

The thing I really loved about this foundation was the packaging. The 'squeeze bottle' really made it easy to get the exact amout of product that I needed. The actual product, however, I didn't like as much. Coverage was about medium. Lasting power..horrible. It was completely GONE after about 3 hours. I returned this right away. I've found better foundations at the drugstore for more than half the price.

This is for those not really needing any kind of coverage. It feels as though I'm just putting on colored water to my face. It disappears after few hours but I've always noticed that I have something on my face while the foundation is on my skin. Texture is like watery lotion. Diverse color range. It's really not buildable since it's so sheer. You can probably use this for watering down other foundations that are thicker in consistency.
Has a pleasant scent that is barely noticeable. When you take off the top lid, you will notice a spout where the foundation comes out. Even if you constantly wipe the spout, if the entire bottle is placed side ways etc then a small amount of foundation comes out of the spout.
Got it for just over $20CDN b4 taxes. 30ml. No SPF.

Lightweight, nice light-to-medium coverage, oil free... but it doesn't reduce the oiliness of my skin, it's cakey and it oxidizes. It didn't last at all.

I have oily skin and this makeup makes my face oily after about 4 hours. The only reason I would buy it again is because its so lightweight, doesn't stink and feels good on my face while applying.

I really wanted to like this product! The shade that I got is a perfect match for my skin, and I love how natural it looked on my skin. It has medium coverage, and is awesome for covering redness on my face. However....it broke me out pretty badly, and that really disappointed me. It didn't really help in controlling oil either, and it kind of made my face itch. I have tried a variety of skincare and makeup products from Clinique, but they never worked for me. I don't think I'll ever want to buy their products again.

I like this foundation and, yes, I would buy it again but I'm not in love with it.
It is very runny but I like that such a little bit goes a long way. Especially with a primer underneath.
It controls shine and stays put all day.
The shade selection is not great, very slightly orange.
I do not have bad skin, slight surface pigmentation and very rarely a pimple or two, so this is great coverage for me. I would not imagine it would be enough coverage for someone with acne prone skin, though

Let me start off by saying that I am not a frequent foundation wearer. In fact, the first time I ever wore foundation was less than a year ago and it was using this product. I am generally very careful with what I use on my face because I have sensitive, acne-prone, oily skin. Since I was looking for a long-lasting foundation and read good things about this particular product, I picked it up. I must say, this foundation delivered on everything it claimed to and didn't break me out. This product has many different shades which makes it easy to find an exact match. The only disadvantage to using this product is that you must be extremely fast in applying it, otherwise it will streak or become concentrated in a particular spot. So, its necessary to work one section of your face at a time. Its definitely worth the hard work if you have oily skin.
Also, although it is quite long-lasting without a primer or base underneath, I would highly suggest using a primer for extra lasting power or if you have VERY oily skin.
And finally, although I love this product, I am currently researching other foundation options. Until I find one tempting enough to try, I will use this up completely.

I like this foundation, but its not an HG. It has nice medium coverage anlyd it matches my skin perfectly but it seems to settle into any dry areas really badly. Still, because its such a good match for my skintone and its the best thing I've found so far I will continue to use this for now.

This was surprisingly good for my oily skin, It gave me a really nice glow all day wthout making my face look oily- which is incredible for me!

Great foundation, stays all day, it provides a natural finish, easy to apply, it doesn´t break me out, not the best coverage and colour matched, very expensive, but i would buy it again... i will try revlon color stay next time.

I first used this product when staying at my Grandmothers for the night. She has always loved and trusted clinique, having been using it for 20+ years. So I grabbed it after discovering I did not have any foundation with me in my packed makeup bag. I have very dry skin with oilier spots around my nose and my skin has never look so flawless and radiant in my life after using this foundation. I applied it with my hands as i do with all foundations and was very pleased with the outcome. After being on for 10+ hours it did start to become quite cakey and not so nice, but before that absolutely beautiful. I even looked at my face in a friends rearview mirror that day in the sunlight which i dont normally do (for fear of looking like shit in true light) and it was just as flawless if not more then i thought it was in false light. The product was a little runny but having dry skin it made it quite a bit easier to blend. I felt like a million bucks and had about a million compliments on my face soooo I will continue to use this foundation until I find something better...which i doubt is possible.... Did I mention that the price is wicked as well?

I've worn this foundation for 10 years. The new formulation that came out several years ago was very disappointing, I can see why they recalled the product. The old formula was so much better--better coverage, staying power, controlled oil better, better color...my color is "honey" and my coloring is an NC35. The old formula color honey is definitely different from the new formula color honey. The new formula is way too yellow. I hope they come back with the old formula and color. I've tried so many other foundations but haven't found any replacement.
